We can officially say that next month we will be moving into our new home!
We still have a November 10th closing date (Lord willing no other mishaps).
No real updates on the house.
Electric is supposed to be hooked up this week so we can stop syphoning our neighbors.
Still waiting for the hot water tank/furnace/purifier to be removed and the new ones installed. Not sure why they were not removed before the new drywall went in, there is still mud everywhere around them and water in the crevasses.
The basement is fully dry walled again and the mudding and sanding is nearly finished. Yes, the rest of the basement and wood were 100% dry, I was very thorough on that.
I wish I would have taken a photo of the mud that is still in our electric outlets. I asked our project manager about it and said I was really unhappy it was there. I didn't want to forever be sweeping my new house because there was mud left in there that would dry and fall out on to my brand new floors. He said he would personally scrap it out, I'll check on that this week. If not.. I am temped to go do it myself. I wonder if they would take an hourly rate off our bill for having to work on my own house?

Yay for electricity! Here is hoping it gets up and running soon!
