We had all our furniture picked out and on hold at a local furniture store, I even posted it here. But then we went back to look at bedroom sets and, well, it all changed.
First, we found this very stately bed.
Who could say no? Those fluffy pillows were softly whispering tales of sweet, comfy, dreams. Although... they will NOT be coming home with us. Can you see that blue price tag? $1,800 for the bedding! No way! Not even Pottery Barn cost that much.
Then we found the king of sofas! The picture doesn't do this thing justice. It is HUGE. The chairs that match were also pretty mammoth in size, plus we knew we wanted something less 'matching' to add some interest to the living room. After searching the store three times over we found these awesome grey and white side chairs. The sales people were super kind and helped us haul them over to the sofa to be sure we liked how they looked together.
We are still on the hunt for a dinning table, entertainment center and a few other things, but the big pieces are done.
