The house!

What a month!

We closed on the house November 30th! Sadly, due to a banking error, we missing out big "Here's Your Keys" moment.  The funds for closing were wired at 8am, but as it was not an instant process, when we singed the papers at 9am the title company had not yet received their funds.  So we singed everything, ran a few errands and came back about an hour later to pick up the keys from the office. We were so happy to have the keys, but saddened that the moment was missed.

    

The first few days after closing were spent away from the house, placing delivery orders, buying all the small things you need and moving things from our friends house to the new house.  It was about 4 days before we was able to spend any real time at the house.  There were also a few days in there where the construction crews were in and out finishing a few things up. I believe at this point though we have everything delivered and all the issues cleared resolved.  We are still deciding on things, like a dresser for the Little Prince's room and art work for the walls, but that will all come in time.   

I will post full details about the whole process soon and our personal review soon, but in the meantime, here are a few photo's of the new house! I will say quickly though, that we are impressed with the quality that Allen Edwin has put into their homes.
